Facing Outcry, FDA Alters Comment Period On FSMA Rules

Law360, New York (March 5, 2013, 6:47 PM EST) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration will allow food companies and others to comment on proposed rules under the Food Safety Modernization Act as a package, the agency said Tuesday, addressing concerns the staggered release of the rules would rob the industry of full input into the reforms.
