9th Circ. Revives Challenge To Calif. Election Mandate

Law360, Los Angeles (March 7, 2013, 7:42 PM EST) -- The Ninth Circuit on Wednesday reinstated a challenge to a California mandate requiring circulators who gather signatures for a political candidate to live in the district in which the candidate is running for election, saying the lower court erred in finding that the plaintiffs lacked standing.
