Macondo Workers Broke With Oilfield Practices, Expert Says

Law360, New York (March 6, 2013, 6:44 PM EST) -- BP PLC and Transocean Ltd.’s failure to act on signals that the Macondo oil well in the Gulf of Mexico was about to suffer a blowout represented a “gross and extreme” departure from industry practices, a drilling expert testified Wednesday during trial over the Deepwater Horizon disaster.
