Ex-Fumo Atty Can't Prove Column Libelous, Philly Paper Says

Law360, Philadelphia (March 7, 2013, 4:56 PM EST) -- The Philadelphia Daily News told a Pennsylvania state judge Monday that it did not libel Sprague & Sprague founder Richard Sprague in a 2008 opinion column saying Sprague lied after admitting he’d publicized a defense on behalf of his former client, convicted state Sen. Vince Fumo, that he did not believe.
