Walgreen Managers Win Class Cert. In OT Suit

Law360, New York (March 7, 2013, 6:58 PM EST) -- An Arkansas federal judge on Thursday granted conditional class status to a group of lower management Walgreen Co. employees who allege the company wrongly denied them overtime pay.

U.S. District Judge Jimm Larry Hendren conditionally certified a collective action lodged by current and former Walgreen executive assistant managers who claim the company violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by incorrectly classifying them as exempt from overtime, according to an order.
