Key Witness Recanted, Brocade Exec Attorneys Say

Law360, New York (December 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Attorneys for Gregory Reyes, the chief executive of Brocade Communications Systems Inc., are asking for a new stock option backdating trial because they allege a key witness lied during testimony.

In a motion filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Northern California, Reyes' attorneys said that the only prosecution witness from Brocade's finance department, Elizabeth Moore, has recanted her testimony.
