Australian Music Industry to Sue ISPs Over Piracy

Law360, New York (November 24, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) plans to sue internet service providers that fail to prevent their customers from illegally downloading music, the Courier-Mail reported Monday.

But the Australian music industry group doesn’t plan to sue individual consumers of pirated music, as its U.S. counterpart, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), has done, according to the Courier-Mail.
