DOI Clears 3 Green Energy Projects With 1,100-MW Capacity

Law360, New York (March 13, 2013, 6:08 PM EDT) -- The Interior Department on Wednesday gave the green light for developers to build three renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of 1,100 megawatts on public lands in California and Nevada.

Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said the agency had approved a 750-megawatt solar power plant and a 150-megawatt solar facility in southeast California, and a 200-megawatt wind farm outside Searchlight, Nev.
