Replacement Part Can Skirt Infringement Claim: Top UK Court

Law360, New York (March 13, 2013, 4:50 PM EDT) -- The U.K. Supreme Court ruled unanimously Wednesday that a company that replaced part of a container for transporting liquids cannot be held liable for infringing the patent on the container itself, reversing a lower court decision that the replacement parts infringe patents.
