DC Appeals Court Weighs Sheppard Mullin Malpractice Suit

Law360, Washington (March 13, 2013, 10:55 PM EDT) -- Boston-Maine Airways Corp. urged a District of Columbia Court of Appeals panel on Wednesday to revive its legal malpractice suit against Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, claiming that the law firm sabotaged the airline's growth by hiding financial issues caused by BMAC's former general counsel.

According to BMAC, Sheppard Mullin had a duty to inform the company that its former general counsel, John Nadolny, admitted to forging a signature on a bond during union labor litigation settlements, an oversight it claims led to the U.S....
