Dr. Reddy’s Still Can’t Duck Suit Over Generic Angiomax

Law360, New York (March 13, 2013, 9:21 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey federal judge refused Wednesday to reconsider Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.’s bid for a quick escape from The Medicines Co.’s patent infringement suit over the generics maker’s version of the anti-coagulant Angiomax.

U.S. District Judge Peter G. Sheridan declined to reconsider his denial of a motion for summary judgment from India-based Dr. Reddy’s, which in June 2012 asked the judge to invalidate The Medicines Co.’s Angiomax patents and dismiss the infringement suit against it, a request he denied in October.
