11th Circ. Urged To End Block On Ga. Health-Plan Pay Law

Law360, New York (March 13, 2013, 7:23 PM EDT) -- Georgia’s Insurance & Safety Fire Commissioner on Tuesday asked the Eleventh Circuit to overturn an injunction blocking a law extending the state's "prompt pay" insurance statute to cover employers' self-funded plans, saying trade group America's Health Insurance Plans didn’t have standing for the suit.
