Sens. Push Hard Line On Foreign Milk Regs Amid Trade Talks

Law360, New York (March 14, 2013, 6:21 PM EDT) -- As U.S. trade negotiators continue talks on a proposed trans-Pacific trade deal, Sen. Charles Schumer and other senators urged them on Thursday to take a hard line on foreign dairy restrictions that critics say disadvantage American farmers.

In a letter co-signed by more than 30 senators, Schumer complained that current barriers imposed by Canada had limited that country's market to U.S. exporters.
