BP Can Bid In Gulf Lease Sale, Despite Contracting Ban

Law360, New York (March 15, 2013, 1:52 PM EDT) -- BP PLC will be allowed to bid in this week’s Gulf of Mexico lease sale, even though the company remains barred from government contracting due to its role in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the U.S. Department of the Interior said Thursday.
