Law360, New York (March 26, 2013, 6:34 PM EDT) -- With Portland, Ore., recently becoming the fourth major U.S. city to require businesses to offer paid sick leave to workers and similar legislation under consideration in New York City, multiple states and Congress, attorneys say employers need to pay close attention to local regulatory nuances to avoid penalties or employee lawsuits.
