West-Ward Lobs $175M False Ad Suit At Generic-Drug Rivals

Law360, New York (March 15, 2013, 4:21 PM EDT) -- West-Ward Pharmaceutical Corp. hit generic-drug rivals Sandoz Inc. and American Regent Inc. with a $175 million false advertising suit in New Jersey federal court Thursday, accusing them of selling a blood pressure medication labeled with unsubstantiated and inaccurate information about uses, dosing and safety.
