NYC Atty Admits To Role In $279M No-Fault Insurance Fraud

Law360, New York (March 15, 2013, 5:21 PM EDT) -- A lawyer from Queens, N.Y., has admitted to trolling for clients willing to file fake claims in two separate conspiracies to defraud private insurance companies under the state's no-fault automobile insurance law — including a role in a record $279 million no-fault scheme, prosecutors said Friday.

Sol Naimark, 54, admitted to the crimes Thursday in front of Manhattan federal Judge J. Paul Oetken.
