Yellow Pages Publishers Enter Ch. 11 To Seal Merger

Law360, Wilmington (March 18, 2013, 2:51 PM EDT) -- Dex One Corp. and SuperMedia Inc. have both filed for bankruptcy in Delaware to finalize a merger between the struggling yellow pages publishers after they failed to bring all of their respective lenders on board with the proposed deal.

In Chapter 11 petitions filed on Sunday and Monday, Cary, N.C.-based Dex One, formerly known as R.H. Donnelly Corp., listed $2.8 billion in assets against $2.7 billion of debt, while Dallas-based SuperMedia claimed $1.4 billion in assets against $1.9 billion of debt.
