UK Politicos OK Deal To Create Independent Press Regulator

Law360, New York (March 18, 2013, 7:35 PM EDT) -- Responding to public outrage over journalists’ phone hacking, U.K. politicians on Monday agreed to create an independent press regulation commission that would have the power to impose fines and force apologies, though opposing parties appeared to disagree about the legal backbone of the deal.
