Bayer Pays $24M To Settle Yaz, Yasmin Gallbladder Cases

Law360, Los Angeles (March 19, 2013, 11:20 PM EDT) -- A federal judge gave approval to Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s settlement to pay $24 million to patients claiming they developed gallbladder disease or had their gallbladders removed after using Bayer’s Yaz and Yasmin birth control pills, according to an agreement filed in multidistrict litigation court last week.
