Robotic Parking Co. Hit With Fraud Suit Over Fla. Project

Law360, Miami (March 20, 2013, 8:40 PM EDT) -- Developer Crescent Heights R&D LLC sued a manufacturer of robotic parking systems in Florida state court Friday, alleging fraud and breach of contract over failed plans for an automated garage in Miami Beach.

The Miami-based developer says Boomerang Systems Inc. made numerous false statements to entice it into a nearly $2.4 million contract to design and build what they expected to be a state-of-the-art automated parking system tucked behind a restaurant at 1826 Collins Ave., in the heart of the fashionable South Beach district.
