Law360, New York (March 20, 2013, 12:34 PM EDT) -- Late last year, Congress passed a new law that could be a revenue generator for cash-strapped state and local governments. Section 331 of the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act[1] — the annual bill that authorizes the programs and activities of the U.S. Department of Defense — permits the military services to enter into intergovernmental support agreements with state and local governments for the provision of “installation support services.”
