Ill. County Official Won't Testify At His Criminal Tax Trial

Law360, Chicago (March 20, 2013, 5:14 PM EDT) -- Cook County Commissioner William Beavers said Wednesday he would not be testifying at his criminal tax trial as planned, and his lawyers rested their case soon after an Illinois federal judge limited the testimony of their expert witness.
