Energy Firms, Enviros Pen Voluntary Fracking Standards

Law360, Los Angeles (March 20, 2013, 4:42 PM EDT) -- In a bid to make hydraulic fracturing more palatable to the American public amid an avalanche of negative press, oil heavyweights and a host of environmental groups on Wednesday announced a voluntary set of performance standards aimed at minimizing pollution caused by fracking in the Appalachian Basin.
