5 Calif. City Officials Found Guilty Of Embezzling $1.3M

Law360, Los Angeles (March 20, 2013, 4:54 PM EDT) -- A jury returned guilty verdicts Wednesday against the onetime mayor of Bell, Calif., and four former city council members, finding they stole as much as $1.3 million from the working-class city's residents by giving themselves inflated salaries.
