Judge Closes Book On CBS Race Bias Suit

Law360, New York (December 17, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal court in Philadelphia has thrown out a Title VII case against CBS Radio in which the plaintiff, a former account executive, alleged that he was subjected to a hostile work environment because of the distribution of a book giving advice on how to dress to succeed in a professional setting.

U.S. District Judge Gene E.K. Pratter signed off on a memorandum and order granting summary judgment to the defendant on Monday, holding that the evidence in the record failed to raise a genuine issue...
