Clinic Wants FCA Suit Tossed After $1.6M Deal Collapses

Law360, Los Angeles (March 22, 2013, 3:37 PM EDT) -- A holistic medical center on Thursday in Florida federal court renewed its motion to dismiss a False Claims Act lawsuit alleging Medicare corruption after a $1.6 million settlement with a qui tam plaintiff fell apart over the U.S. government’s bid to add administrative and tax penalties to the deal.
