CIT Upholds Commerce's Duties On Chinese Tires

Law360, New York (March 22, 2013, 5:15 PM EDT) -- A U.S. Court of International Trade judge ruled Friday that the U.S. Department of Commerce had done enough to back a finding that Chinese tires imported by OTR Wheel Engineering Inc. were subject to countervailing and anti-dumping duties.

Restani shot down OTR's argument that because its Trac Master and Traction Master tires were specifically designed for “turf, lawn or garden” use, they should be excluded from countervailing and anti-dumping duty orders.
