Force-Fed Foie Gras Suit Lacks Legal Issue, Calif. Judge Says

Law360, Los Angeles (March 22, 2013, 7:15 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Friday tossed a lawsuit brought against the U.S. Department of Agriculture for allegedly violating of the Poultry Products Inspection Act by allowing the sale of force-fed foie gras, saying the scientific conclusion about the health risk should be left to the department.
