DePuy Hip Implants Appeared To Be Safe, Surgeon Testifies

Law360, Chicago (March 25, 2013, 4:24 PM EDT) -- A surgeon and expert witness for a woman suing Johnson & Johnson subsidiary DePuy Inc. over its recalled ASR XL metal hip testified at the Illinois trial Monday that his office generated reports for medical conferences, some held just months before the plaintiff's operation, that indicated the device was safe.
