9th Circ. Backs SEIU's $1.4M Award In Rival Union Fight

Law360, Los Angeles (March 26, 2013, 9:33 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Tuesday upheld a $1.4 million judgment against a local union and its leaders who allegedly attempted to sabotage the plans of their parent union, the Service Employees International Union, to consolidate health care unions by siphoning funds and forming a rival group.
