Fired Exec Slaps NY Hospital With $30M Defamation Suit

Law360, Washington (March 27, 2013, 2:13 PM EDT) -- A former New York Downtown Hospital executive launched a $30 million defamation suit Tuesday claiming the hospital destroyed her career by firing her over false allegations that she siphoned money from research study sponsors and denying her an opportunity to refute the accusations.
