Bed Bath & Beyond Faces Mass. ZIP Code Collection Suit

Law360, New York (March 28, 2013, 6:14 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts consumer slapped Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. with a putative class action Thursday alleging the company violates customer privacy by collecting ZIP codes during purchases, lodging her suit just two weeks after the state's high court ruled that the information constitutes personal identification data.
