Investment Fund To Cough Up $1.1M In Merger Case

Law360, New York (December 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- California investment fund ValueAct Capital Partners LP will pay $1.1 million to settle allegations from the U.S. Department of Justice that it violated premerger reporting requirements.

The lawsuit and settlement were filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Wednesday. The settlement, however, must still win the approval of a judge.
