Fla. Attys Disbarred for Failing to Stop $4.4M Embezzlement

Law360, New York (March 28, 2013, 8:58 PM EDT) -- The Florida Supreme Court on Wednesday disbarred two attorneys whose bookkeeper allegedly stole nearly $4.4 million from their firm's trust account before fleeing the country, finding they failed to effectively monitor the account and did not properly respond to the theft once they discovered it.
