Medtronic Asks High Court To Weigh IP Case Burden Of Proof

Law360, New York (March 29, 2013, 5:21 PM EDT) -- Medtronic Inc. has told the U.S. Supreme Court that a Federal Circuit ruling would improperly require the company, during a declaratory judgment suit against a Boston Scientific Corp. unit and a patent-holding trust, to prove noninfringement of defibrillator patents it licensed.
