Alaska High Court Limits Scrutiny Of Oil And Gas Projects

Law360, New York (March 29, 2013, 6:57 PM EDT) -- The Alaska Supreme Court on Friday overturned a lower court's decision that the state's Department of Natural Resources had violated state law by declining to issue "best interest" findings at each phase of oil and gas projects, ruling such findings aren't required under the state constitution.
