Parmalat Investigators Seek Trial For Citibank Execs

Law360, New York (December 20, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Italian prosecutors have reportedly claimed that 10 Citibank executives should stand trial for their alleged roles in the 2003 collapse of dairy giant Parmalat SpA.

Prosecutors in Parma said Thursday that they had concluded their investigation against the 10 executives and were requested that they be put on trial, Dow Jones Newswires reported.

A judge must now order a preliminary hearing in order to decide whether there is enough evidence for indictments and trials against the Citibank executives.
