Former US Trade Rep. Kirk Joins Gibson Dunn

Law360, New York (April 1, 2013, 7:37 PM EDT) -- Former U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk has joined Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP and will be based out of the firm's Dallas and Washington, D.C., offices, saying Monday he will assist companies looking to expand internationally.

Kirk, who stepped down from his post in February, will take on the title of senior counsel at Gibson Dunn. As USTR, Kirk served as a member of President Barack Obama's Cabinet and served as the White Houses's primary trade adviser.
