Ex-MoFo IP Partner Disbarred In NY Over Billing Fraud

Law360, New York (April 1, 2013, 6:10 PM EDT) -- A New York appellate court ruled Thursday that a former Morrison & Foerster LLP intellectual property partner who fraudulently billed the San Francisco school district and private insurers nearly $400,000 for services for his autistic son may no longer practice law in New York.

The Appellate Division unanimously determined that Jonathan Dickstein was automatically disbarred in New York after he pled guilty to 30 criminal counts, including grand theft and forgery in California state court in October 2011.
