Public Entities' Liability Up To Jury, NJ Appeals Court Finds

Law360, New York (April 1, 2013, 5:57 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey appeals court on Monday reversed a liability judgment against an emergency dispatcher and police department after ruling the trial judge usurped the jury’s responsibility to decide whether the public entities had discretion over how to allocate their resources.
