Rambus “Shred Days” To Resurface In Hynix Trial

Law360, New York (October 18, 2005, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As Rambus Technologies’ trial against Hynix Semiconductor begins this week, Rambus will once again be asked to justify the massive destruction of company documents that took place in the late 1990s.

The trial, held in the U.S. District Court for the District of Northern California, centers around claims of patent infringement filed against Hynix by Rambus.

In the complaint, Rambus alleges that Hynix infringed its patents for memory technologies used in computers, consumer electronics and network systems.
