Gibson Dunn Snags 2 British Antitrust Regulators

Law360, New York (April 3, 2013, 12:30 PM EDT) -- Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP has beefed up its global antitrust capabilities by hiring two former top British competition regulators at its London office, the firm announced Wednesday.

Ali Nikpay will join Gibson Dunn later this month after serving for nine years as a senior director at the U.K. Office of Fair Trading, one of the country's two competition regulatory agencies. Most recently, Nikpay headed up the office's cartels and criminal enforcement division and served as one of the key decision makers in merger approval....
