1.9M Hyundais, Kias Recalled Over Brake Lights, Air Bags

Law360, New York (April 3, 2013, 2:23 PM EDT) -- Korean automakers Hyundai Motors Co. and Kia Motors Corp. on Monday recalled nearly 1.9 vehicles for problems with brake lights and air bags that may increase the risk of crashes or injuries for drivers and passengers.

Hyundai is recalling 1,059,824 vehicles, including model year 2007-2009 Accents and Tucsons, model year 2007-2010 Elantras, model year 2007-2011 Santa Fes, model year 2008-2009 Veracruzes, model year 2010-2011 Genesis Coupes and model year 2011 Sonatas.
