Parker Waichman Backs Bayer Over NJ Mirena Consolidation

By Joshua Alston (April 3, 2013, 5:31 PM EDT) -- Parker Waichman LLP and AnapolSchwartz joined with Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals last month to try to convince the Superior Court of New Jersey to reconsider its denial of Bayer's request to centralize dozens of cases related to Mirena, Bayer's intrauterine birth control device, according to a Monday statement.

Parker Waichman filed an application dated March 6 with Superior Court Judge Glenn A. Grant asking the judge to combine more than 60 Mirena-related cases in New Jersey, according to the statement released Monday. Parker Waichman's request was among several made last month as the number of Mirena cases in New Jersey continues to swell....
