Pa. Gov. Aims To Sink $558M Into Midstate Road Project

Law360, Philadelphia (April 3, 2013, 5:43 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett seeks to allocate $558 million dollars toward a 12.4-mile central Pennsylvania highway project, Department of Transportation Secretary Barry Schoch announced at a Wednesday news conference.

If Corbett's transportation funding plan is approved by the General Assembly, the money would go toward the completion of the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation project, which would create a four-lane, limited-access divided highway running from Snyder County, through Union County and into Northumberland County.
