Tyco Fires Back In Containers Case

Law360, New York (January 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Tyco International Inc. has told a judge that 200 hours of deposition time in an antitrust suit alleging a monopoly over hypodermic disposal containers is excessive and that the plaintiff has not supported the request.

In a motion filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the company said plaintiff Daniels Sharpsmart Inc. cannot argue in good faith that the same amount of time is needed to make a case against one defendant – Tyco – as it had previously requested...
