MF Global Liquidation Plan Gets Court Approval

Law360, New York (April 5, 2013, 2:18 PM EDT) -- MF Global Holdings Ltd. on Friday received court approval of its Chapter 11 liquidation plan, allowing creditors and customers to begin seeing some payback and signaling the beginning of the end of one of the largest bankruptcies the country has ever seen.

At a hearing Friday, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Martin Glenn asked that a handful of minor changes to the plan confirmation order be implemented, but otherwise congratulated the Chapter 11 trustee and creditors on putting together a plan that satisfied almost every party involved....
