Chemical Co., CEO Can't Dodge Charges Over Workers' Deaths

Law360, Houston (April 8, 2013, 7:29 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Thursday rejected a chemical company and its CEO’s effort to dodge criminal charges over the deaths of two employees who inhaled poisonous gas, ruling that the state’s hazardous waste program does not prevent federal prosecution of environmental and occupational safety violations.
