Gutride Safier Slams Ex-Partner For Meddling In Cases

Law360, Los Angeles (April 8, 2013, 3:47 PM EDT) -- Intellectual property law firm Gutride Safier LLP on Friday asked a California federal court for a preliminary injunction against its former partner, saying he was interfering in retained cases in violation of their withdrawal agreement.

Reese, who claims he signed the 2008 agreement under duress, has violated the withdrawal contract by intervening in certain cases through filing declarations and by threatening to object to a class action settlement in one of the cases retained by Gutride Safier....
